It's Over

Winter is finally over
The ice is melting away,
and our feet are warming to the ground.
Finally the wait is over.

Enjoying the walks at sunset,
feeling the warmth of early autumn.
I'm loving the perly rays of dry soils.
Finally I can smile and say,
"The wait is almost over."

I loved your words last night.
When you complained about your body needing a reset.
How you're so feeling minty.
That's how I knew then, that you're ready for me.
So now I can proudly shout,
"The Long Wait is Finally Over!"
